A Note from My Studio
I want you to truly love the work you choose. Every piece is created with care in my studio, and because of the handmade nature of art, there may be slight variations in colour or texture—this is the soul of the work! Please remember that digital screens can vary, so the colours may look a little different in person than on your device.
1. The Legal Essentials
By accessing this website and purchasing any artwork, you expressly agree to these terms. All artwork and content on this website are the sole intellectual property of Ali Mackie. Any use, reproduction, or distribution of images or text for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from Ali Mackie.
2. Orders & Payments
Payments: Accepted payment methods include most major credit cards via Stripe, Apple Pay, and PayPal.
Contract: A binding contract is created only upon receipt of my official order confirmation email.
Pricing: All prices are presented in GBP. For orders placed outside the UK, all customs fees, duties, and local taxes arising from the order are the customer's sole responsibility.
3. Shipping & Delivery
II want to ensure your new artwork arrives safely, whether it's travelling down the road or across an ocean.
UK Shipping: My website is currently set up to ship directly within the UK via Royal Mail. Most orders are packaged and on their way within four working days. If things are extra busy, I’ll let you know right away if there might be a small delay.
Local Customers: If you are local and would like to collect your order from my Buckinghamshire Studio, select Store Pickup under Delivery in the shop and email me at ali@alimackie.com to arrange a collection time.
International Orders: While my automated checkout is for UK addresses, I am more than happy to ship worldwide upon request—including to Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the USA. If you’re outside the UK, please just get in touch before you order. I’ll find a bespoke shipping quote for you, and we can arrange your purchase personally.
Customs & Fees: For all international orders, any customs charges, duties, or local taxes are the customer's responsibility.
Eco-Minded Packaging: I take great care to use recyclable or recycled materials where possible. To keep original works and fine art prints pristine, I may use specially sourced art-friendly cellophane for that extra layer of protection during transit.
4. Returns & Exchanges
Because each piece is original and unique, refunds are not offered. If you have concerns about your order, please reach out to discuss your situation—customer satisfaction is important to me.
Exchanges: If you don’t love the piece upon arrival, contact me at ali@alimackie.com within 7 days. We can discuss exchanging your artwork for another, depending on availability and your preferences. Please note that returned items must be in their original condition and securely packaged.
Return Shipping: Customers are solely responsible for the cost of return shipping for exchanges. Please use a tracked and insured service, as I cannot offer exchanges if items are lost or damaged in return transit. Once the returned artwork is received in its original condition, your exchange will be processed promptly.
Damages: Please inspect your art upon arrival. If there’s any damage from transit, contact me immediately.
